After developing Airtrain's business system, Woodward IT was used
to develop their web site. The web site, now in its second skin,
benefits Airtrain because it is virtually maintenance free. All of
the information, and reservations made on the site is managed by
their business system which they use daily.
One of the features on the web site is an interactive map which
shows the fare, travel time and stations to change at for all
stations on the Queensland Rail network.

OASIS

OASIS (Online Airtrain Safety Induction Service) was developed
to assist Brisbane's Airtrain with the management of all aspects of
safety training. Being a business whose main focus is the rail
industry, Airtrain has a statutory requirement to provide an above
average level of training for all employees and contractors.
As such, OASIS was developed by Woodward IT as a dual system to not
only provide online training and assessment, but to also manage the
training requirements of all employees.

Communicator

|
Communicator is the name given to the intranet application developed
for North Lakes State College. This application was developed to
be the prime method of communication between teachers over a large
campus.
The application covers a range of functional areas including:
daily notices, calendar management, absenteeism, staff contact,
policies, professional development, room hire, minutes of meetings,
shop orders, document management, newsletter submissions, maintenance
requests, todo items and much more.

MapServer

|
MapServer is an OpenSource development environment for the delivery
of spatial data to the web without the cost and overheads of
proprietary GIS software. Woodward IT is readily available to
install, develop and customise MapServer for any purpose.
MapServer contains all of the functionality that commercial GIS
web products offer. It is also capable of working in many
different environments with different GIS and image formats.

Rockhampton City Council
|
|
Rockhampton City Council's GIS web interface was initially
developed to replace the CUI application which was deployed using
PC Genius and X Emulation. The application brought GIS to the
desktop in a more friendly form and has since been integrated
with Council's Pathways LIS system. The application has become
integral to Council business and is continually being added to
with new data sets and editing functionality.

Sutherland Shire Council

|
Sutherland Shire's web application was developed as a way of
getting desktop access to GIS without the massive overheads of
X-emulation. Council also previously had a lightweight and slow
Java web application that did not fit the requirements of the
users and an in-house Genius application for their power-users.
The application runs in both Netscape Navigator and Internet
Explorer.

Thuringowa City Council

Thuringowa City Council's GIS web interface started off as a
simple viewing and querying tool but has evolved into a
functionality rich application. The application is used by all
Council staff and these users now have the ability to update
attribute information online. The application has undergone many
changes and continues to answer GIS questions for the entire
organisation.

Tweed Shire Council's GIS web interface was initially developed
to provide a desktop access point for GIS data and used to access
address and owner information. Tweed has a very healthy intranet
and has seen other data maintenance applications developed to
cater for specific requirements and projects.
