TweedMapper

TweedMapper is excellent way for any organisation to deliver their map data effectively. This application can be easily ported and tailored to your organisation's requirements. Woodward IT can provide fixed price consultancy to develop the exact application you are after. For more information, contact us.

One of the major functions of TweedMapper is to allow the user to build up a mailing list. The mailing list is generated for all selected properties and where a selected property contains strata units, the unit addresses are also included in the mailing list.

After a list is generated, the user can save the list directly to a new Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, Microsoft Access Database, HTML file or ASCII delimited text file.

The mailing list is generated from a selection of properties which can be made from any of the following methods.

  • Searching for an address
  • Searching for a plan number
  • Single clicking on properties
  • Dragging a box over properties
  • Dragging a circle over properties
  • Drawing a polygon around properties
  • Selecting all parcels that front a certain street
  • The results of the Sales Analyzer

The user can generate the sales history for the currently selected properties. Where a property contains strata units, the sales history for each unit is also listed. The sales history contains the address of the property, the sale price, date of contract and date of transfer.

After the sales history is generated, the user can save the history directly to a new Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, Microsoft Access Database, HTML file or ASCII delimited text file.

The Sales Analyzer provides a unique way of selecting properties based on a price range or date of sale. You can limit properties to only those that appear in the Map Window, or in a locality. You can also select from base or strata parcels.

On the Sales Analyzer you can elect to enter a price range where properties that have sold with a price in that range are selected. You can also select properties that have sold some time in a specified date range.

After properties have been selected, they form the current selection and then mailing lists and sales history can be generated.

TweedMapper is fully interactive and at any stage a user can click on a property to get all the known information about that property.

When querying a property, the user is returned:

  • The lot, section and plan numbers
  • The address of the parcel
  • The area of the parcel and area units
  • The LEP designations affecting the parcel and their primary objectives. Multi-zoned parcels list every affecting zone.
  • A complete list of all sales history for the parcel. If the parcel contains srata units, the strata sales history is also displayed.

TweedMapper comes with a comprehensive Windows help file. The help outlines the various shortcuts and best ways to find matches when searching, and other items such as an LEP legend.

The help contains a table of contents, index and searching ability.

The following is a full listing of the functionality available in TweedMapper:
