TradeWaste Plus is an application that simplifies the management of trade waste processes in your organisation. It allows you to store a range of information about each account, including details about treatment devices used, inspections, self monitoring and environmental aspects.

The application has been designed so that all data entry can be accessed from the one common location without being overwhelmed by hundreds of menu buttons. Account information can be loaded by a series of search methods.

TradeWaste Plus is extremely flexible in that not all of the data fields are mandatory when entering information. It is also extremely reliable in that it will not let you enter incorrect information unknowingly.

The Application works on a single PC with Microsoft Access (or even without MS Access installed) or with Microsoft SQLServer. The database can also be configured to be shared among many computers.

New to version 1.2 is direct integration with OpenOffice.org Writer, Microsoft Word, ArcView and GenaServer.

Easy to Use Interface

TradeWaste Plus has been designed to make data entry and retrieval extremely quick and easy. When the application first loads, a jump station is presented with a series of search options to load an existing account or to enter a new account.

You can search by the following methods:

Trade waste number
Company or trading name (or partial name)
Property address (or partial address)
Plan numbers
Property owner name (or partial name)

Robust Data Entry

The data entry screens in TradeWaste Plus have been designed to make the process simple and logical. Except for some crucial fields, most of the entry fields are optional and need only be filled in if known.

There is also the ability to build up lists of common selections to populate drop down lists. For example, to store all the chemicals stored on a site you do not have to continually enter the same chemical names for each account. You can populate a list of choices only once and use that list to select from.

Easy Account Menu

When dealing with an account, there is a common Account dialog which lists the primary information about the account, but also contains easy-click buttons to all the other data entry screens (the menubar can also be used).

Each options loads a dialog where ancillary data can be entered. You can also link any documents and images to an account which can be launched/viewed directly from TradeWaste Plus.

Any information about on-site inspections and notifications issued are available from the one mouse click.

Address and Contact Information

The dialogs displayed here are a representation of the data entry process in TradeWaste Plus. Filling in the additional information allows you to then have TradeWaste Plus automate Microsoft Word creation with these values.

There are also various shortcut buttons to save you entering information twice. For instance if the person to be contacted about an account is the same as the emergency contact, you can click a single button to copy the information in for you.
