Address Search

One of the search options in Manningham Perspective is by address. This is the most common form of searching as this is how most people identify their properties.

The search is flexible in that only a street name or partial street name is required. The user can also enter a house number or range, unit number, street type or suburb. The list of street types and suburbs is generated from the property information. If a search returns multiple matches, the user is presented with a list to choose from.

After the property is found, it is displayed in the map window and highlighted. The property remains highlighted as the user zooms around.

Owner Search

Another search method in Manningham Perspective is by owner name. In this search, the user can enter a surname or company name to search for. Optionally a given name or initial can also be supplied. A partial surname can also be entered and all matching owners will be displayed. If the search returns multiple owners, then the user is presented with a list of owners and the addresses of properties they own.

Property Reports

The user can generate reports based on selected properties. The reports contain the property address, owner(s) names, land use and parcel area. This report can be saved directly to a MS Excel spreadsheet, MS Access Database, delimited ASCII or HTML document.

There is also a variety of selection methods for the user to pick properties. Properties can be individually clicked, or by dragging a circle, rectangle or drawing a polygon.

Map Queries

As well as individually clicking on properties to generate a report, the user can also click on any zone polygon to get the zone code. Any overlays can also be clicked in, and all of the planning overlay codes at that point are listed.

All of the queries are accessible from a drop down list on the toolbar.

Manningham Perspective comes with a comprehensive Windows help file. The help outlines the various shortcuts and best ways to find matches when searching, and other items.
