Woodward I.T. Customers: The College of Health and Fitness

Woodward IT is a partner of:

	September 2005: In an attempt to better streamline their business, Woodward IT was contracted to develop an interactive CD to assist students undertaking Certificate III in Fitness. The CD collated various Microsoft Word and PowerPoint documents into a series of HTML pages that autoload after the CD is inserted. The CD is sent to students undertaking the course and allows them to easily navigate to any information they may require.
	June 2005: WIT was used to consult on the purchase and installation of new computer hardware for the college. Software installations and a wireless network were setup.
	January 2005: Woodward IT was contracted to develop a new web site for the College of Health and Fitness in Queensland. The web site had to be built on a budget, yet include functionality to manage student logins and course note uploads securely. The web site was built with: Standard PHP public pages with information about the college. Student login facility to retrieve course notes. Administration facility to enrol students and nominate the courses being undertaken. Administration facility to upload course documents and the ability to query when course documents have been downloaded by students. Automatic email generation to students when enrolment details are changed. Automatic email of invoices. Security and login process for administration and students. Woodward IT was also responsible for the configuration of the web server, email setup and domain name delegation.
