June 2000: Woodward IT was responsible for installing and
fully developing an Intranet GIS Application.
The browser application was accessible by all Council
staff to see map information and address/owner attributes.
Functionality included:
- Standard navigation and layer management for zooming in and
out, to scale and selecting layers to be displayed
- HTML report generation on property queries and adjoining owner
queries
- Searching of maps to highlight roads or properties
- Integration with GEAC Pathways LIS allowing users to display a
map of the selected property in their browser
- Searching/Reporting from Oracle database directly querying the
GEAC Pathways rates data.

April 2000: Woodward IT was contracted to prepare a report
for possible models of a GIS/Geac Pathways LIS integration. The
recommendation was adopted by Council and an intranet solution was
implemented.
