Cemetery Definition
|
|
In CeMS you can manage multiple cemeteries and you can also
nominate multiple sections to exist in each cemetery. Cemeteries,
sections and interments can all be created at any time. Each
cemetery or section is known by its name.
The management windows allow you to visually see all interments in
a section in a cemetery. You do not have to create each interment.
If you register a burial or booking against an interment that does
not exist, CeMS will create it for you. You can hook photos to
a cemetery, section or interment.

Reporting
|
|
CeMS contains a powerful reporting component, that not only
generates reports, but can be used to answer complex queries. In
order to generate a report you must fill in some of the optional
criteria that will generate the answer to the query. For instance,
when generating reports about burials, you can elect to enter the
name of the deceased or cemetery or funeral director or burial
date or a combination of the above.
In CeMS, reports can be produced in either summary or full detail
form. The full detail report is applicable for giving to customers.
The summary report is more beneficial for querys such as
counting the number of burials a particular funeral director has
serviced in the last six months in a particular cemetery.

Attachments
|
|
CeMS has the ability to record shortcuts to any file type and display
those files in their native viewing software. This makes it handy
to be able to open a document, a photo, spreadsheet for the one
person without having to trawl through network drives. You can
attach files to people, burials, bookings, plaques, cemeteries,
sections and interments.
There is also integration with ADI DataWorks for document
management, and OpenOffice.org Writer and Microsoft Word for
document generation. You can populate template documents with
values entered in CeMS saving you time when generating letters.

Funeral Directors and Plaque Makers
|
|
You can keep track of all your plaque makers you use, and funeral
directors that have looked after burials in your cemeteries. This
information is important because they can then be referenced
against burials and plaque orders.
Referencing these people helps to answer questions such as when a
funeral director asks "How many burials have I performed in your
cemetery in the last 12 months?"
